The IMEI you enter
The free IMEI check runs entirely in your web browser. The number you type is not sent to us or saved. To look up the model, your browser downloads a small public file of model codes; it doesn't include your IMEI.
Website logs
Our hosting provider (Netlify) keeps standard server logs, such as IP address, browser type and pages visited, to run and protect the site.
Cookies and ads
We don't currently use advertising or tracking cookies. If we add ads or analytics, such as Google AdSense, they may use cookies to show and measure ads, and we'll update this page before that happens.
Paid reports
When you buy a history report, payment is handled by Stripe; we never see your full card number. To run the check, the IMEI is sent to our data provider (IMEI.org). We save the IMEI and the finished report with your payment record in Stripe, so you can reopen the report from your link and so we can help with refunds and support.
